We frequently get asked questions regarding the strength and durability of our products. And while we can provide you with answers to most of the questions that you may have, sometimes it's better to show you. That's what we're doing now; we're pushing our products to their limit, and testing them until they fail. That's why we've started a new long term test involving our tables! This test will be similar to other long term tests that companies have done to showcase the durability of their products. This test will be a long term outdoor durability test on our 4-ft NES Reliable Rectangle Plastic Folding Tables and our 4-ft NES Wood Folding Tables. What really happens to a NES Plastic Folding Table when it is left outside? What about an NES Wood Folding Table? How do they compare? What happens when it rains, or snows, or hails, or when the sun is shining, or when it’s hot out, and what about the cold!? Our test tables will experience all of these situations over the course of the next year, right here in Toronto.

Our goal with these tests is to see how our NES Reliable Plastic Folding Tables and our NES Wood Folding Tables (Plywood Folding Tables) hold up when they are left outside for extended periods of time. Both the plastic folding table and plywood folding table have been placed side by side to ensure that they experience the same conditions over the months to come. I will provide updates on the condition of the tables and a brief look at the weather in the weeks and months ahead. At the end of the day we hope that all of these tests will help you choose the right table for your application.

We've done a number of stress tests on our plastic tables and our plastic folding chairs, but we have not yet done any stress test videos for our wood folding tables. We're correcting that oversight today with a stress test video featuring our 8-ft Rectangular Wood Folding Table. Our last video was all about how strong our 8-ft NES Reliable Rectangular Plastic Folding Table truly is. 8-ft Rectangular Folding tables are a staple for our rental customers and for our banquet hall owners, so it's incredibly important that the tables that we sell are durable so they can take a beating and still be useable the next day. NES Wood Folding Tables are commercial grade wood folding tables, and, as you can see from the video, are capable of holding an incredible amount of weight!

Plastic folding rectangular tables are a staple of the rental industry, and the 8-ft is far and away the most popular size for our rental customers and our banquet hall customers. NES Reliable Rectangular Plastic Folding Tables are commercial grade tables, and, as you can see from the video, are capable of holding an incredible amount of weight!

It's been a little over a month since we posted our last stress test video blog on our NES Reliable Square Plastic Folding Card Table. It's taken us a little time to get back into the swing of things, but we have a new stress test video—this time starring our Tall NES Reliable Round Plastic Folding Cocktail Tables. We love this high top table and are frequently asked just how much weight it will hold—so now it is time to find out! How much weight will it take to cause the high top table to collapse? Will Dennis make our Resin Chiavari Chair Collapse when he stands on it holding a 20kg bag of road salt?? Can I come up with a third question that's halfway reasonable??? We've made several videos recently featuring our plastic folding chairs. We've loaded them with weight until they collapsed, and done a time lapse with them holding almost 400 pounds. With those in mind, we decided to do a video featuring our NES Reliable Square Plastic Folding Card Table. We know that these tables are as strong as our NES Reliable Folding Banquet Tables, but we wanted to show you that they weren't nearly as rickety as the card table of old. My grandmother has an old card table, and I swear that it would collapse if there was a strong breeze. And I know that our plastic folding card table won't.

As you can see from the video, the NES Reliable Square Plastic Folding Card Table easily held over 1100 pounds. In other words, the three lineman in the picture below could stand together on the table (if they could fit) and not break it. That being said, we don't encourage table dancing!
