For those unfamiliar, the Canadian Rental Association has regional divisions that hold local meetings at party rental, location services for the film industry, general tool, equipment and construction equipment rentals that allow Ontario rental centre members to meet, network and learn new skills. It is not only a great chance to meet like-minded individuals but also a chance to hear how other rental companies in a non-competitive market structure, organize and run their business.
This month’s meeting takes place on Wednesday November 16 at Whites LES 800 Islington Ave, Toronto, ON M8Z 6A1.
The evening starts off with a tour and social hour at Whites LES from 5-6PM, followed by Dinner at 6pm and then a slideshow and presentation on Whites LES at 7PM. If you’re in need of overnight accommodations, the CRA Ontario board has reserved a block of rooms at the Stay Inn Etobicoke located on 560 Evans Avenue, Toronto, ON M8W 2W1.
I know from past experience these meetings are a great way to meet new people and learn something new about the rental industry. From a rental centre point of view, you may learn the way another company does something that you never thought of before and can take back to implement in your business.
