We’re Moving on Up

Our New Location

Exciting news everyone! We’re moving on up (to a new warehouse that is). We’re packing up our Mississauga Head Office and warehouse and moving to a new location that will give us more space to grow.

Because we’re growing like crazy.

We needed more elbow room and a larger warehouse gives us the flexibility needed for continued growth over the next several years. Even more important than that, a larger warehouse equates to more event equipment – of the products we already offer as well as the ability to offer even more relevant products to the party rental, foodservice and hospitality sectors.

Don’t worry, we’re not moving too far away. Our new location is only about a 5 minute drive from our current warehouse (directions from old location to new location here) – and only one additional exit off Highway 427. Not only is it close, it’s a lot bigger which is perfect for a growing organization.

As of December 19th, 2016 we will have moved to our new warehouse location at:

3544 Nashua Drive
Mississauga, ON L4V 1L4
Google Map

Moving will begin December 1st to the new location. We will be open for business during this time and working out of our current warehouse at 3280 Caroga Drive, Mississauga, ON. If you’re planning to pick up product or visit our showroom at 3280 Caroga Drive, please call ahead first to 1-800-827-8953 or 905-795-1667 to ensure the product is not already at the new warehouse. We will do our best to make this move as painless for you as possible.

Exciting Things to Come — Thanks To You

The best part of growing, moving, and making announcements like this is knowing it’s all possible because you trust us to provide your company with high quality event equipment. Knowing you stake your company’s reputation (in part) with the products we provide you is always humbling, but a move like this puts the remarkable events of our company’s history into the forefront of our minds. We’re grateful for your continued trust and business and look forward to seeing you at our new warehouse sometime soon!

60 inch round wood folding table vs 60 inch round plastic folding table

5ft round folding tables otherwise known as 60 inch round folding tables are one of our most popular round table sizes. They are most commonly used for special events such as weddings at a seated reception. They can hold up to 10 people and help venues fit more people into their space. Because we offer 60 inch round folding tables in both wood and plastic, it helps for venues, banquet halls and party rental companies to understand the difference between the two tables. The comparison below provides a comparison so that companies can evaluate what table best fits their business needs. Check it out below.

60 inch round wood folding table

  • Holds up to 2550 lbs
  • Supports that form a box on the underside of the table.
  • Wishbone-style folding legs for added stability.
  • No-mark foot to prevent leaving scuffs or marks on the floor.
  • Tabletop is made of 3/4" clear coated plywood
  • Edging is t-shaped black vinyl

  • Bolt-through tabletop construction to secure rails and folding legs to ensure strength and durability

60 inch round plastic folding table

3 Common Misconceptions about Crystal Stemware

Crystal Stemware Misconceptions

Crystal stemware is used a lot in fine dining restaurants as well as rented out to special events where a little sparkle is necessary on the table – or if a more luxurious atmosphere is wanted. It tends to be synonymous with a higher end price tag. There are misconceptions that exist with both crystal stemware and glass stemware but today I’m going to touch on the 3 misconceptions that people often assume about crystal stemware – in no particular order.

1. It’s really expensive

While it is true it can be a more expensive – this is more often than not the result of how it is manufactured and who is selling the crystal stemware. Crystal stemware that is hand blown by master craftsman is obviously going to be priced higher because of the human labour involved in producing it. Also, glass blowers are not a dime a dozen and is a craft that doesn’t have millions flocking to learn the trade. That being said, crystal stemware can be machine made – making the glasses more uniform in appearance and lowering unit costs. Also, companies that sell crystal stemware get very good at knowing how to specifically market crystal to appeal to our wants of luxury, fine craftsmanship and extravagance. Because of this, the pricing has been inflated because they have created a market that can support a higher price. Looking for wholesale suppliers of crystal stemware can help alleviate these higher prices.

2. It’s even more breakable than glass

While generally a more breakable substance than glass, crystal stemware tends to have the same issues that also occur with glass stemware. The bowls of the crystal and glass stemware can pop off the foot. That being said, assuming you handle crystal stemware like it can break – and that it isn’t indestructible – it should hold up well for you.

3. It’s not safe because of lead content

Health Canada’s stance on lead crystal is that it may release lead into your food or beverage. That being said, there is lead-free crystal stemware that exists these days. This eliminates the worry that may exist of potential lead poisoning.
