How Strong is a 6 Foot Rectangular Wood Folding Table?

We often get asked how strong our tables are. Everyone is scared of getting a table that's not strong enough or that will collapse in a strong breeze. In the past, we've stress tested our plastic folding tables, showing what it takes to break a 6-ft Rectangular Plastic Folding Table, an 8-ft rectangular plastic folding table, and a 60-inch Round plastic folding table. Unfortunately, after stress testing our 8-ft wood folding table, last year's winter got really bad and we had to use our road salt to melt ice instead of breaking wood tables. But winter's back again, we've got a couple of skids of salt, and a desire to stress some tables!

Our first stress test is going to be the 6-ft wood rectangle folding table. Want to know how much salt it takes to break the table? Watch on!

Now that you've seen what it takes to destroy one of our 6-ft Wood Folding Table, why not:

What size tablecloth fits on a low cocktail table?

We were recently asked what size of tablecloth fits on our NES Reliable 32" Low Plastic Folding Cocktail Table. If you're looking for a tablecloth that will go all the way to the floor, you'll want a 90 inch round tablecloth. A 90 inch round tablecloth will also go all the way to the floor on an NES 30" Wood Cruiser Table with a 30 inch pole.

If you're looking for something that will only go halfway to the floor, you'd need a 60 inch round tablecloth. A 60 inch round tablecloth would provide 15 inches of overhang on both the NES Reliable 32" Low Plastic Folding Cocktail Table and the NES 30" Wood Cruiser Table with a 30 inch pole.

How much do 8 foot harvest tables cost in Canada?

8-Foot Harvest Table

8 foot harvest tables have fast become THE table to rent for rustic or vintage weddings. The trend first caught on 2013 and hasn’t shown signs of stopping. Finding tables that can be transported easily is another matter entirely though. Most tables on the market cannot be disassembled and we’ve heard from many rental companies that they’re making their own – so be prepared when deciding to get into the harvest table trend that you could need to set aside a lot of space in your warehouse should you decide to go with a table that doesn’t disassemble.

Cost of 8 foot harvest table

8 foot harvest tables will range quite dramatically in price because there is so few wholesalers that stock harvest tables so you may need to buy retail depending on the style of table required. A traditional harvest table with rustic styled wood and a walnut / dark fruitwood stain will range in price from $489.95 to $2135 Canadian. These tables will seat 8-10 people and allow for ample space to place family style food dishes down the center while still allowing people plenty of room to eat. Because of how much an 8 foot harvest table can weigh, you should expect shipping to be higher than a regular folding table based on how large the tables are as well as how heavy they can be.

Hopefully this post has given you an idea how much you should be budgeting for harvest tables for your rental inventory.

National Event Supply has just released an 8 foot solid wood harvest table with walnut finish. The table features removable legs so rental companies can more easily store and transport the tables. If you’re interested in getting a quote for our 8 foot harvest table, contact us here.

Where are Lifetime Tables made?

Rectangular Plastic Folding TableLifetime tables is a well-known brand of tables that sells direct and through distributors such as Walmart, Costco, and Lowes. With company headquarters based in the United States, they are often looked to as a respected brand when purchasing plastic folding tables for party rental companies. Even though we don’t personally sell lifetime folding tables, we believe in informing our customers and potential customers on any and all of the questions they may have regarding a commercial folding table purchase. When a company begins their search to replace their plastic folding table inventory, one of the questions that is sure to pop up is where a table is made. Because we have sold comparable plastic folding tables to thousands of customers, we naturally get asked "Where are lifetime tables made?" This article attempts to answer this important question.

Lifetime Products currently operates two blow mold plastic manufacturing facilities. The first is located in Clearfield, Utah, USA. This facility is one of the largest blow molded plastics facilities in North America, occupying approximately 2.2 million square feet. The second is located in Xiamen, China and is wholly owned by Lifetime Products.

As a result typically Lifetime tables fit into one of three categories. The first is a plastic folding table that generally does not say where it is made. Typically this product will be made in China. The second is a table that is Made in the USA from US and Imported Parts. This will appear on products that are made with mostly USA made components however some parts are sourced offshore. The last is a table that is made in the USA. This is a product that is fully made and assembled in the United States.
